Norwich Terrier

Personality, and Breed Guide

Norwich Terrier Temperament

Norwich Terriers have all the usual terrier attributes you would expect from this group; being happy, enthusiastic, intelligent and fearless, yet do not suffer from many other traits that Terriers get marked down for.

They do not suffer from the inate nervousness of many small terriers and thus do not tend towards yappiness, they are friendly without being jealous and can be left alone for periods with out resorting to destructive behaviour.

They enjoy companionship and make an excellent pal for another dog and many will quite happily live alongside cats, though do not expect him to get along with "Mr Squeeky" your pet mouse.

Despite the pros there is always a down side, these guys love the outdoors and retain a strong prey drive so cannot be relied upon off leash to behave themselves, they can also be difficult to house train.
